Chelsea Pensioners join Christmas light switch-on

23rd November 2018

The Christmas season in Sloane Square kicked off on Saturday 17th November with a festive family event, marked by the Chelsea Pensioners choir, before the Christmas lights were switched on.

The afternoon kicked off at 2pm with visits from Father Christmas and his Reindeer before the Chelsea Pensioners took to the stage to perform some much loved Christmas Carols. With the big switch-on taking place at 5pm, Sloane Square was illuminated with golden lanterns and a stunning 20ft Christmas Tree.

If you missed out, you can catch the Chelsea Pensioners performing again on Saturday 1st December during the King's Road Christmas shopping event by Duke of York Square, or on Sunday 2nd December at the Battersea Park Pear Tree cafe.
